Mission Hills, an upscale area of beautiful historical homes, sits above Old Town on the rolling hills that overlook the San Diego harbor. Many homes designed by renowned architect Irving Gill have been preserved and renovated. In this area, you will find Craftsman homes, Spanish Revival, California bungalows, Mission-style homes and many other one-of-a-kind residences. As an older, more established area of San Diego, Mission Hills homes varying in price from moderate to estates, with a mix of price ranges possible on any given street. Mission Hills Nursery was started more than a century ago by Kate Sessions, who served as the landscape artist for Balboa Park.
