I have lived in a property managed by this company for about a year. I have had no problems with the management. They came by once for a physical inspection to make sure everything was in working order; the visit was brief and pleasant. I pay my rent online in advance, so I've never had to worry about late fees or if my rent check was delivered on time. All in all, they're a good company to rent from.

My experience with Cassidy & Associates was wonderful. Three of my friends and I rented a home from them in Clairemont. We were all college students, and this was our first time renting a property. We ran into a few problems while living at the rental house. But for every problem we encountered while living there, they responded immediately and sent someone over to fix it right away. We even asked if they could do something about the stove during our first week in the home, and they were nice enough to replace the stove for free! I would definitely rent from them again. Cassidy & Associates have hands-down provided the best Tenant-Landlord Experience I've had in the last 10 years. I have only had great experiences with them. I have been renting from them in Pacific Beach since April of 2011 and would like to share some of the really stellar things they have done for us.

1. They do an annual landlord walk through once a year. The first time they came through, they were in and out in ten minutes. A couple of weeks later they called us and said they were sending someone to replace the sinks, free of charge (the sinks were on the old side, but still worked well). They got us set up with new sinks that are truly exceptional.
2. NEW CARPETS AFTER A YEAR OF TENANCY! I spoke to our Property Manager Jessica about getting new carpets even though we were by no means "entitled" to getting new carpets. Tim and Jessica came to look at the carpets and then sent a professional subcontractor team to redo ALL THE CARPETS in our 3 bedroom condo free of charge.
3. They are incredibly understanding and sympathetic. The Postal Service lost our rent check one month and Cassidy & Associates sent us a letter about 10 days later as notice of late rent. Realizing that our check had been lost in the mail, we went down to their office and explained the situation, at the same time bringing a replacement rent check. They were very sympathetic and waived the penalty for delinquent rent. I've had other landlords who simply do not care about extenuating circumstances such as this. Not Cassidy!
4. They do all their lease signing, etc. online through a service called PayLease. Super convenient.
5. Tim Cassidy (owner of Cassidy & Associates) and Jessica (Cassidy's Property Manager) are very cool and understanding people. They are incredibly friendly and have been helpful each time I've spoken with and met with them. They also respect our privacy and don't try to micro-manage our lives just because we rent from them. Cassidy has been very responsive when we need attention to our unit.

I'd rent from them again if I moved out of my current place (been here almost two years). They also have an office where you can visit them and they will receive you hospitably. Seriously, a five-star service.

When we moved in, the apartment was freshly painted and cleaned. We were actually able to pay our rent online! Never once had problems with the rental. When we moved out, one of the agents inspected our apartment and listed any cleaning and repairs we needed to take care of. We took care of the minor things and left with our full deposit.
